A. R. Phillips Press was founded in 2018 in Brooklyn, by C. Phillips, as an independent publishing house focused on uncommon literary voices. We’ve been building this tiny publishing house from the ground up and will publish our first title, The Believers: Stories, a short story collection by A. K. Herman in Fall 2024. We are committed to great writing with distinct voices that explores the range of human experiences across cultures.

A. R. Phillips Press aims to publish writing--novels, story collections and poetry--that offer views into distinct cultures, languages or historical moments. We work primarily with authors living in the U.S. and hope to expand to a global roster. We have a growing network of distributers, who support international distribution of titles.
